Really, just love each other, stupid.

Had a wonderful day spending my third wedding anniversary with my wife and her family (who are in town for a brief visit on their way to other vacations). Went up to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, watched the delightful Shirley McClain in Sweet Charity (which is awesome, but generates deeply complicated emotions in me), and had an amazing time overall.

I’m the night owl, so after everyone else went to bed, I logged on to see what I missed over the day, generate this post, etc.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people?

Bombs, hate, and stupidity.

Then I turned to some of the gaming FB groups I belong to, hoping to get away from some of the vitriol of the world for a moment and not ruin the tone of my day. Of course, there was still a litany of stupid from a handful of loud trolls there, this time complaining that the Pathfinder 2E playtest was terrible for the most ridiculous reason: it catered to people who weren’t white, cis-gendered men.

What the hell is wrong with these people?

First, that is a falsehood. No one is being catered to. Representation does not equal hate on white men.

Second, just because a person is gay or black or celebrates Eid al-Fitr instead of Christmas: this does not make them less of a person, and also get over yourself.

Love other people. Try not to be a jerk. It’s pretty much the simplest thing.
